Who Ordered This?????

Is it not mid-April??? This is what's going on in Wisconsin and much of the upper Midwest today:

We are expected to get about 7 inches of very heavy wet snow before it all ends. Trees and shrubs are bending and breaking. We've already had a week of below freezing weather, which been hard enough on the plants. I guess this is the snow we didn't get in December.

Not a lot to show you in knitting content.

Here's the Mead Scarf stretched along the back of the porch glider. I think I'm more than half way done. It's hard to judge the amount of yarn still on the cone. Last night I saw a little error about 4 rows back in the pattern. I decided to live with it. If anyone's looking that closely, they shouldn't be.

I've been quite wiped out from our trip and vacation time with my kids and haven't done much knitting. Or much of anything else. Yesterday I napped most of the time the kids were at school. I've had mild vertigo since we got back, which happens to me sometimes in the spring. I think it's related to a seasonal allergy issue. Whatever causes it, it really slows me down.

Well how are the allergies doing with all that snow to weight down the pollen and whatnot? Hee hee! Didn't the farmer's almanac predict a mild winter? I wonder what they said about this spring!

Mead looks good!

I was just going to say that perhaps you picked the vertigo up in California? I've had it for a couple months and it's just not going away!

I hope you're feeling better soon, though I know this weather doesn't help AT ALL! Also, we had school cancellations!...in the middle of April!....for snow!....

Snow on tulips is so depressing! We had that three days ago. Our methrological institute has promised us it's not going to happen again this year.

Mead looks great!

And thanks for all your nice comments on my blog. Just so you know, I thind your boys make excellent blog fodder too.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I woke up to an inch of snow at my house this morning....in New Mexico!

The vacation sounds like most of my vacations, fun, yet you're so happy to get home when you're home!

Love the rollercoaster shot, and your photos in general. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I know you northerners are unhappy about the snow, but it's so beautiful. I would love to move back to the great white north (Assuming that I would continue to work from home and therefore would not need to drive in snow.)

Ugh. That stuff gets tiresome come March, and it's just too much in April. I won't tell you what the weather's like down here. I will state that we could use some rain to was away the pollen, though.

Darling, that is exactly why my hubby and I no longer live in upstate New York but now in warm North Carolina! *laugh* Hopefully it will melt quickly.
