Love the really upclose sunflower! I wish my camera would do that! Hope you had a Happy Thankgiving. I wonder if you couldn't see my updates because I was using the new Beta version of Blogger? Wierd.
Your photos are always gorgeous, Elizabeth. What camera do you have? Mine crapped the bed and I need to order a new one before the holiday get-togethers.
Renee, I have an Olympus e-500 digital SLR which I bought last summer. I really enjoy it. Additionally, we have an older Olympus, a Camedia C-5060, which has a wonderful built-in super-macro.
For making the most of your digital camera, no matter how plain or fancy, I recommend Tom Ang's books on digital photography. I had two of his checked out from the library and would like to buy the more comprehensive one.
Milkweed! Flash from the past... I grew up surrounded by woods and they were always my very fave and a special treat to find. They were like lollipops - how long could we keep them before pulling them apart and releasing all that lovely stuff inside?

The last one is milkweed. I've edited the post to put that in there.
