These are all poor abandoned yarns that I found at my local thrift shops, and saved from a life of neglect and sorrow.

Maybe the "BL" on that cryptic tag is some kind of Llama? Very cool to find yarn in a thrift store -- I need to do a thrift store crawl one of these days!

I'm thinking the BL is Blue Faced Leicester.

I'm green with envy--I never find such scores at our local thriftstores but maybe I need to go more often!
