Also, I would have never guessed you had a kniting machine as well. One day I may buy one. First, I'll wait on more patterns from you for it. :)

That's really pretty. What yarn did you use? I love the color. BTW, my cousin, Judy Sidran, lives in Madison. Any chance you know her?

Sorry, Jocelyn, I don't know your cousin Judy. I don't have the widest social network around.

The yarn was Blackberry Ridge Northern Lights, a discontinued DK 85% wool/15% silk. The closest suggestion I could find for a substitute was Jo Sharp DK Tweed. I bet this pattern would look good in a cotton, linen, or hemp blend, too, as long as the gauge could be matched.

The finished product looks great, Elizabeth! I really like what you did with the button closures - it looks very polished. And a good candidate for knitting in warmer weather.
