I love bleeding hearts. I'm not a green thumb but my dad gave me a bleeding heart from his collection a few years ago. When it actually grew the following spring I was thrilled. It had 1 string of hearts on it and I kept going outside to look at it. All was well until my youngest son came in and said "Mommy I picked that pretty flower for you so you don't have to keep going outside!"

You take great pics!

Bleeding hearts, daffodils, violets--three of the four flowers I miss the most living down here. The fourth are lilacs.

Thanks for the beautiful photos.

I love your flower closeup. Out of curiosity, what make/model of camera do you use? (I may be in the market for a new one soon.)

I love these photos!!!!! Bleeding hearts are my favorite flower. I once dyed a yarn colorway called Bleeding Hearts. It might be on my blog still, check it out! Lovely photos! All of them.
