Sloane (on a person!)

Finally! Photos of the Sloane Pullover on a human!
Sloane 3 M
This is my friend Leslie who graciously agreed to model. The sweater is a bit snug on her in some places and not a great fit through the shoulders, but it gets the idea across.

Sloane 2 M
I've been working on pattern writing. I had a few disruptions this past week, but hope for a full normal school week in next week.

I like the sweater. I'm partial to cables -- not necessarily knitting them, but I like them on sweaters.

It's absolutely brilliant! Your SIL will love it!

It's beautiful! Lovely cables, but it doesn't look bulky, like cabled sweaters sometimes do. I'm sure it'll be a big hit.

I love it! It looks so much better on a person. Hm, that didn't come out right. It looked good before--but you know how cables get scrunchy when not in use? That's what I mean.

Wait - did you say top-down, set in sleeves? Can't wait to see the pattern - this is absolutely stunning and you're really, really, really goooooood!

It's a lovely sweater! The cable is interesting but not overpowering, and I like the turtleneck.

very nice Elizabeth!

If I were wearing it, I'd make it a fold-over traditional turtleneck. But the cables are fab and I just love it. I'd make it in a heartbeat.

2nding (it is too a word) the not too bulky, yet beautifully cabled remark. Bound to be flattering to everybody--both the overly, underly, and the righteously frontally endowed.

Great sweater! Will you knit me one?

Oh, that's nice... love how the cable pattern is stylized, yet organic.

Love it! And, it really fits her perfectly.

This is one I'll have to look forward to the pattern for!
