This is a simple seed stitch scarf from the Malabrigo Worsted, worked the long way, in which I intentionally induce pooling.
This is a Kauni Surprise, worked with Jamieson Spindrift. Stay tuned on that.
Owen and I went to the Digger's Outlet over the weekend. I found this sign on the wall amusing.
It appears that all the $5 wedding dresses are currently sold out. I wonder how many Madison area brides have been married in Diggers Outlet dresses. (photo courtesy of Owen, who took it with his cell phone.)

Mmmm, I like the induced pooling.
Give my best to the group on Saturday, I'll be in Maryland.
And, uh, nevermind that last sentence. I just realized that last Saturday was Last Saturday. Aargh! Will get my calendar straight next month.
Interesting pooling - keep us posted!
I got married to my 1st husband in a t-shirt and long gypsy skirt (him: t-shirt and jeans), probably about the $5 mark each... it was the '70s though!
Hm, now I want to see that scarf!
Hee hee, I will say my wedding dress was cheap--but not quite that bad!
Being the frugal little Yankee girl that I am, I would definitely be married in a $5 Digger's Outlet dress....unless I could find a $3.00 Goodwill dress or a $1 yard sale dress. Course I'm not stupid enough to tempt the divorce God's twice so it's a moot point.
I sent my wedding dress to the cleaners and it never came back. After they got the cat pee out of it (a fitting tribute to the end of my marriage, really), I hope someone else was able to get it for $5 or so.
How do you induce pooling?
Ipecac?
Epitosin?
Great scarf! And... $5 for a wedding dress? Wow. That's fabulous. No wonder they were out!
Love the Kauni/Jamieson sweater-in-progess. I'm hooked on Kauni and have so many colors in my stash. It's good to see other possibilites. When I finish up some current projects (including my 2 Kate Cardigans), I'd like to make the cardigan in Kauni from Knitcircus #5. I'm thinking of using reds.
The dresses are $5.00, but the hangers cost $350.00.
