Owen's Quilt: Quilted!

I picked up Owen's quilt from Franco's yesterday. I'd say $60 was a bargain to jump past all the hours of quilting (even by machine) and move right to putting on the edging. I'll probably get to that after the school year starts, when I hope life settles down a bit around here.

Yeah $60 isn't bad at all. At first I thought it was that random stippling, but I like the pattern you picked.

O. My. Stars. Can I be Owen's pretend girlfriend and borrow it sometime? Wait....naw, I wouldn't do that to him. But Elizabeth? That's eye-wateringly beautiful and nothing else.

It turned out great! I love that you made it out of old shirts, too!

I really like the look of this type of quilt. All the plaids and stripes and the long, full columns -- the look of the old and the contemporary in one project. Very nice work!
(And I'm a happy supporter of sending a quilt out to be quilted!)

Great quilt. Your sewing always impresses me (in addition to your knitting.)
