After all this wild and dramatic and sometimes destructive weather has cleared out, it's not a bad day here.

Ugh. That damn fluff. Ushers in the allergy season for hubby which means he doesn't sleep which means I don't sleep and I have to hear him whine about it all day!

I can't decide which I like better --the yarnpr0n, the flowers of the beaded hummingbird--just lovely. And thanks--all of our flowers got hailed on, so I enjoy seeing everyone else's garden.

LOVE the fern photo. That could be a greeting card!

This has been a year for the weather memory books! I hope your lair is dry!

Oh, good! I was wondering how you were doing with all the bad weather up your way.

And those are cottonwood seeds, right? I was idly watching them the other day and wondering if they were spinnable.

Yah, my basement's shall we say, WET and SMELLY and I'm never buying another house again. An inch or 2 more of rain expected today and tonight. I like the fern picture.

What's the fluff?

I love the fern photo. And where does the fluff come from? Ours comes from local Cottonwood trees.

Elizabeth: everything looks stunning on your website. The photos, the yarn below that you spun (span? help!), etc. I would have commented on every post but am way behind in reading and thought that one concerted "OOH!! AAAHH!!" would carry the message just as well.

Happy summer!
