Mead Scarf Pattern!

Even though it's like a sauna outside, I got a couple pictures of the Mead Scarf in its finished state!

I won't tell you how much I tinkered with this image to preserve my vanity!

It's beautiful. Thank you for posting the pattern! It's so hard to cast on the Baltic Sea stole again and not use the yarn for this beauty.

gorgeous!
I cannot believe you actually wrapped that around your head and neck right now. I believe that you are only 10 degrees cooler there than we are, and we've been pushing 100 for the last week or so.
Like Marina, I'll get my clone to just whip one up. ;)
I've got lots of stash that would be lovely in.Thank you for taking the time to write it up and publish it.

O Cruel Mistress! {g} I've printed it out too, I of the grim Stockinette School of Toques. But I think I might be able to manage THAT chart and I've never tried a chart (in spite of lace books full of 'em). I'm game to give it a shot (and you'll come visit me at Mendota where I've been taken, gibbering and drooling, right?) After making such admiring thoughts about it on your earlier post, I AM going to try it. And yeah, it's warmish -- I actually cranked up my "cool room" for the first time this season. Not the last. (Hard knitting in the 110% humidity.)

Just think of it like a dance: one, two, three, cha cha cha. The cha cha chas are the YO and decreases. There are really only two business rows, just slid over by one stitch each time.

Thank you for posting the pattern. It is a lovely scarf.

I'm so happy to hear you may have tinkered with a photo due to vanity. Gourds knows if I had Photoshop still I would look entirely different than I do now.lol.

Beautiful scarf! Love your blog name, I'm afraid I'm in the same boat. I've also been know to tweak a photo here or there. I won't tell if you won't.

Beautiful scarf. One of the very few that I would truly like to knit. But attempting to download pdf's ALWAYS crashes my machine. Might there be some other format or way to obtain this pattern? Because YES, it's THAT lovely! KUDOS to you .. job well done.
Warm hugs, Maggie

Just a note .. Elizabeth very kindly spent a good deal of time today working with me and my machine to make sure I got her pattern and the chart that goes with it. I appreciate her generosity of spirit and her willingness to share her creativity. I hope she keeps on designing pretty things and does well with her patterns wherever she makes them available. This is a very Nice Lady. Thank you again!
Warm hugs, Maggie

This scarf is my first real knitting project and it's working out beautifully. Thanks a lot for posting it, and the 1-2-3 tcha-tcha-tach hint helps a lot with not getting too worked up about it being complicated! I am very grateful you made this available. thanks!

This is perfect! I was just looking for something to make my mom for Christmas! The only thing I'll do differently than the pattern is instead of slip, slip, knit, i'm going to use knit two together through the back loop. s-s-k makes two slanting rows, and from the picture it looks like there should only be one slanting row like k2tog TBL. Thanks so much for the pattern!

Gorgeous! It's going to make the perfect Christmas present for one of my friends. I'm using the Paton's Lace in Camel that has little sequins in the yarn. I love the touch of sparkle it is adding.

Thanks so much for generously sharing!

This is a lovely pattern, and I would love to make it, but the link is not working for me. Not sure if the problem is on my end, or what???

Thanks!
